You are invited to PKP’s Development News Webinar

A PKP software development update webinar is scheduled for Monday, August 21, 9 AM Pacific Time, and we would love for you to join us! The meeting link is now available.

The PKP 25 year anniversary logo is displayed at the bottom of the invite. It's a simple grey and red logo with "25" as a number at the front and the text for SFU and PKP following it horizontally.

The background image was taken by PKP's Jason Nugent. The Redwood National Forest in California is dappled with sunlight making the green shine vibrantly. There is a wooden bridge spanning the forest floor over a wet patch. Wildflowers pop out from under the bridge.

PKP is to hold a development news webinar, open to the public, on Monday August 21st, at 9 AM PDT. The joining information is in this post.

The first PKP Development News Webinar was held on December 12th, 2022. In that webinar, Alec, Bozana, Devika and Nate presented the PKP Development Team’s areas of work at that time in preparation for the Open Journal Systems (OJS), Open Monograph Press (OMP), and Open Preprint Systems (OPS) 3.4.0 software that was released in 2023. The recording of that webinar is available on YouTube.

PKP invites those interested in the developments that underpin its scholarly publishing software to join in on Monday August 21st for a webinar. This event will be of interest to Strategic Partners, Development Partners, Financial Contributors, and Community Contributors, as well as the wider community interested in, or using, PKP’s free and open source software (FOSS) for independent scholarly publishing.
